Microneedling

Microneedling rejuvenates the skin by stimulating the body's natural production of collagen and elastin. Over time, skin becomes damaged through sun damage, acne scarring, stretch marks and the natural process of ageing. Microneedling uses multiple small needles to prick the skin. This initiates the healing process producing new collagen and elastin in the process.

Good for scarring, acne marks, stretch marks, open pores, fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity.

A course of 6 sessions, 1 every 4-6 weeks is recommended.

FAQ: How long does the procedure take?

Topical anaesthetic is applied to the surface of the skin for approximately 30-40 minutes. Once this has taken effect, the procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.

FAQ: What can I expect to feel afterwards?

Your skin will feel very warm and will be deep pink in colour. This will last approximately 24-36 hours after which the skin will feel dry and tight as it begins to heal and lay down new collagen. This can last 4-5 days.

FAQ: Are there any side effects?

Microneedling is a very safe and effective treatment.
